Jamie Fallon began practicing a plant-based diet & lifestyle 4 years ago as a way to reduce inflammation & heal from several major surgeries. After seeing great improvements in physical health, mental clarity, & emotional well-being, he dedicated himself to sharing this experience & knowledge with others interested in becoming the best version of themselves. He earned his masters degree in Psychology from Medaille College in Buffalo, NY & a Certification in Plant-Based Nutrition from Cornell University & The T. Colin Campbell Foundation where he studied an expansive “wholistic” approach to nutrition as it relates to conditions including chronic pain, athletic injury, diabetes, heart disease, cancer, & more.

Basic Yoga

As a certified YogaFit© instructor I teach a “user friendly” class that a person of just about any fitness level can benefit from. Use of breath throughout the class is paramount, form is closely observed, and one leaves my class feeling rejuvenated and uplifted. I often tell my students that they are now in a nonjudgmental/ noncompetitive atmosphere and that they should focus on what their bodies are able to do and have joy in it.

Basic Yoga is a drop in class taught by Kristie Inman on Wednesday’s and Friday’s 5:0pm-6:00pm and costs $10

Yin Yoga

Most forms of Yoga practices are designed to work the muscular part of our bodies or the “yang” tissues. Yin Yoga allows us to work the other half, the yin tissues, which are the ligaments, fascia, and the joints. Yin postures are held for three to five minutes creating a gentle traction of the connective tissues, expanding and nourishing these tissues. This improves circulation and creates more flexibility of the joints. Time, not intensity, is the magic ingredient. Yin Yoga enhances self-awareness, deepens your practice and brings balance, stillness, and relaxation the the body, mind, and spirit. Yin is appropriate for all levels.

 

This drop in class is $10 per class and is taught by Tammy Holstein on Thursdays 6:15pm-7:15pm
